Service Description

Discover the joy of sewing in this fun, supportive, and hands-on class designed especially for students who are brand new to sewing or need a refresher on the basics. This stress-free six-week session will introduce students to essential sewing skills, including how to take body measurements, choose fabric, understand a basic pattern, cut accurately, thread and operate a sewing machine, and sew simple seams with confidence. Students will work step-by-step on a beginner-friendly project such as pajama pants, a tote bag, or a pillowcase while learning helpful tips along the way. By the end of the session, students will have completed a finished project and gained the foundation needed to continue sewing with confidence. 6 weekly 2.5 hour sessions, $150 or $30 per session. Fridays 9:30am-12pm. Hands-on knitting instructional classes for novice enthusiast. Learn to cast on as well as the knit and perl stitches. Bring your own yawn and needles or purchase from bin.
